Yes, on purpose. Picture book querying has its own rhythms — monthly windows, author-only versus author-illustrator rules, conference codes — and a general tool never gets those right. Chapter books, Middle Grade, and YA are in the talks.
No person does. On Pro, our AI reads the words once when you upload a file, to find its hooks, comps and tone, and again when you press Match. Your text is encrypted, never used to train anything, never shown to anyone else, and deleted when you remove it (our backups clear within 7 days).
